Back in 2019, Markus Rest and Bernhard Wallmeyer visited our customer Metavall in Australia.

In 2021 Wiegert und Bähr was able to aquire the order to manufact three rake cleaners, ship them to Papua New Guinea and install them on site to ensure the power suplly of the OK Tedi copper- gold and silvermine.

After the project delay due to covid, our mechanics are excited to return to Papua New Guinea in August 2023 to continue taking on the new challenges.

We are looking forward to go on with this fascinating project.
